UNYPAD Maguindanao – 3 conducts orientation activity in Paglat Chapter

BULUAN, MAGUINDANAO (December 1, 2020) — United Youth for Peace and Development, Inc. (UNYPAD) Maguindanao Cluster 3 conducted an orientation activity in Paglat Municipal Chapter held at Paglat National High School, Barangay Poblacion, Paglat, Maguindanao on Saturday (Nov 28) attended by 25 professionals.

“I am very thankful to all who are giving response to my invitation to hear and understand our organization (UNYPAD) welcome to our organization and you will never get lost if you are accepting this some tasks and challenges of UNYPAD,” Salahudin Manalasal Paglat Chapter Chairman said in his welcome address.   

Officers from UNYPAD Maguindanao Cluster 3 graced the event. Present also were five (5) UNYPAD officers from the newly-organized Datu Paglas Chapter.

Haviv Maindan, Provincial Vice Chairman for External Affairs, stated in his inspirational message, “Do not ask what the organization can give to you instead ask yourselves what can you do to support the  implementation of programs and services of UNYPAD.”

“It is a great challenge to us, youth, to continue our aspirations, the right to self-determination, hence the youth must be organized, developed and became equipped to lead the coming generation,” he underscored.

Moctar Edzla, Municipal Secretary of Datu Paglas Chapter, said in his inspirational message, “We will make the youth as model and ready to support the moral governance.”

Esmail Alim UNYPAD Provincial Secretary on Da’wah and Education told the audience to hold the rope of Allah (swt) and don’t allow themselves to be separated.

“I can assure you if you will be member of this organization, you can be molded as God-fearing persons and agent of development someday,” he emphasized.

Akmad S. Musa UNYPAD Provincial chairman explained all about the UNYPAD including task and responsibility of every officer and members of the organization.

He likened the UNYPAD to that of a mobile university citing, “You can learn some short courses like Islamic leadership management and administration, conflict resolution, public speaking and Da’wah methodology and others.”

“Those courses are the specialization of our organization. UNYPAD is youth development center and one of the very active organizations in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and in the Philippines,” Musa divulged.

He also related that UNYPAD had organized 37 cities and provincial chapters.  

Akmad also facilitated successfully the selection and appointment of the officers and members of the UNYPAD Paglat chapter.

The activity ended with closing Du’a by Ustadz Samer Mulod, UNPAYD Paglat Chapter Secretary on Da’wah and Education.
