UNYPAD Kalbugan Chapter spearheads oath-taking of its officers, members

PAGALUNGAN, MAGUINDANAO (January 4, 2021) – United Youth for Peace and Development, Inc. (UNYPAD) Kalbugan Chapter spearheaded the oath-taking program for its officers and members at Pananggilan Residence, Barangay Kalbugan yesterday in this town.
It was part of the effort of the organization to organize young leaders, most especially in remote areas, to develop and enhance their skills to become a productive citizens of society.
In his welcome message, Manny Adam, stressed, “You (organizer) faced some challenges in terms of transportation from your respective places until you reached our barangay. You never felt tired to talk with us in pursuit of this activity.”
He added, “Our barangay is very supportive for any activities regarding the teaching of Islam.”
Mohamad Abas, talked on the overview of the activity. He said, ”We need to organize and develop our youth to prepare them as our second liner leaders in Bangsamoro homeland.”
“Our youth had a big opportunity to learn and enhance their skills,” he further said.
Fahad Mokalam, member of Committee on Da’wah and Education of UNYPAD Pagalungan Chapter discussed the role of youth in the Bangsamoro struggle.
He pointed out that “seeking knowledge is not only in the four corners of the classroom, instead you can learn by doing and observing Islamic lectures and Muhadaras.”
Datuan ‘Dats’ Magon, Deputy Secretary for Administration, gave his inspirational message to the newly inducted members of the organization.
He also gave emphasis on the possible problem that may come which needs to be hurdled.
Mohamad Abas, Chairman Core Group of UNYPAD Pagalungan Chapter inducted and read the pledge of loyalty as they swore to God to become legitimate and functional members of the organization.
Badrodin Mamendig, UNYPAD North Cotabato Cluster II Vice-Chairman for External Affairs, gave his acceptance message.
The UNYPAD Kalbugan chapter is looking for an immediate trainiing-workshop to develop their skills in terms of leadership and management.
