UNYPAD-Sultan Kudarat conducts Seminar-Workshop on Islamic Leadership and Organizational Management

COLUMBIO, SULTAN KUDARAT (January 7, 2021) — UNYPAD-Sultan Kudarat conducted Seminar-Workshop on Islamic Leadership and Organizational Management on December 26-27, 2020 at Barangay Mayo, in this town.

Fifty-five members of UNYPAD-Columbio Chapter participated in the said activity.

The organizers explained to the participants that the seminar-workshop is part of the capacity-building efforts of the organization for its members.

UNYPAD Deputy Secretary General Datuan M. Magon discussed leadership that adheres to the tenets of Islam.

Morsid Guiapal, Internal Vice-Chairman of UNYPAD-SK, tackled Organizational Management and underscored how important it is for officers and members of the chapter to learn about it.

The activity was aimed to educate the participants about leadership and management in Islamic perspective and how they can apply those in their organization and to their other engagements.

Columbio Municipal Administrator Misuari S. Latip expressed gratitude to the organizer for their efforts to help capacitate their youth.

He revealed that it was the first undertaking for the Moro youth in their town where they discussed how to acquire knowledge on proper leadership that would be beneficial for their communities.
According to UNYPAD SK Provincial Chairman Ibrahim S. Nor they have intensified their membership drive through different seminar-workshops which have been part of the services and programs of their organization.

He added that their capacity-building initiatives of UNYOAD are further aimed at honing the skills of the young Bangsamoro who could be instrumental in propagating peace and development in the communities.

The Municipal Chairman of UNYPAD-Columbio Chapter, Abdulrasid Madali, expressed gratitude for the conduct of the said activity. He also thanked the two resource persons and for UNYPAD as a whole for imparting their knowledge to the youth of Columbio.
