UNYPAD Kabacan Chapter holds regular meeting

KABACAN, COTABATO PROVINCE (January 26, 2021) – The United Youth for Peace and Development, Inc. (UNYPAD) Kabacan Chapter held its first monthly meeting aimed at drafting its 2021 Activity Plan and Preparation for Induction Ceremony of newly organized chapters.

The activity was held at Bai Matabay P’lang Village II, Poblacion, Kabacan, Cotabato Province.

The Kabacan Chapter Municipal Officers of UNYPAD convened to discuss the series of activities to be conducted for year 2021.

It was spearheaded by the Kabacan Chapter Chairman Buhare S. Kutea, Provincial Officer Amerudin Abdullah, Provincial Secretary for Admin Rusman Musa and Provincial Women Affairs Committee (WAC) Ms. Baibon Guiamal, PhD.

The meeting’s agenda were training proposals, activity plan for 2021, orientation and induction ceremony of newly established chapters and monthly dues.

It started at 9:00 o’clock in the morning with the reading the Holy Qur’an by the Pedtad Chapter Chairman Zahabudin Tabo.

In his message, Amerudin S. Abdullahafter, gave emphasis to continue supporting the organization for it will bring hope, peace, harmonious relationship and development in the community.

“The knowledge we obtained here is beneficial to us and latter to our people because our leaders from national has been tested and were proven in terms of dealing people using their skills, experiences and wisdom in managing and leading people,“ he said.

Abdullah remarked five things to take for in having an organization: 1st is Elm (Knowledge) -the benefits you’ll have or received in joining; 2nd is Ikhlas (Sincerity) – your sincerity will be your strong foundation; 3rd is Sab’r (Patience) – having patience will make you last in an Organization; 4th is Al-mahabpa (Love) – love your organization and 5th is Al-kabul (Acceptance) -accepting your organization whole heartedly.

Rusman Musa gave wonderful motivations relating the UNYPAD’s role to change his way of life.
“Organization does not make us moving but rather we make ourselves moving forward in achieving common goals and interest of UNYPAD,” he said
The Provincial Secretary for Admin cited some ways to consider in creating plan. He hinted to always open it into proper deliberation like what they have been doing.

“We should also consider the bottom line approach to enable us to be independent and exercise critical thinking,” Musa added.

The body agreed on the schedule of the oath-taking ceremony of the two newly established chapters namely the Barangays Poblacion and Aringay.

They also considered the schedules of the respective chapter on the trainings to be conducted this year.

The attendees further resolved after the presumption of fast-spread of local chapter creation Mr. Kutea, the Chairman, determined the Trainor of Training on Community Organizing that will be the first activity of its chapter.

They considered to adopt the plan in order to develop and mobilize more youth in adjacent areas.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 with the closing prayer by Committee on Da’awah and Education Chair Renie Kabagel.
