UNYPAD Matalam Chapter plans to conduct Islamic Leadership and Management Training

MATALAM, COTABATO PROVINCE (January 28, 2021) The United Youth for Peace and Development, Inc. (UNYPAD)-Matalam Chapter conducted special meeting last January 21, 2021 to plan for the conduct of the “2021 Islamic Leadership and Management Training.”
It was scheduled to be held on January 30-31, 2021 pursuant to the organization’s Annual Activity Plan. However, due to unavailability of the resource person it was re-scheduled on February 13-14, 2021.
The meeting was graced by the officials and members of the Municipal and Barangays of this Chapter.
Municipal Chairman Rodin Mansula presided the meeting which started with the recitation of verse from Qur’an by Jomar Cabuyao. It was followed by the giving of rationale by Mohaimen Pasawilan.
The presider emphasized the saying from Ustadz Hashim Salamat citing, “The Bangsamoro Youth must strive hard to reach the qualification of a leader for maybe someday you become a leader but do not aspire to become a leader.”
Ustadz Mashod Bausi gave the overview of the Islamic leadership’s essence in practicing moral governance.
After the presider reviewed the previous minutes of the meeting, the acting secretary presented the main agenda which was the re-scheduling and preparation for the “2020 Islamic Leadership and Management Training.”
Apart from the training, the updates on the creation of the Barangay Poblacion Chapter and its plan from their official was also tackled.
The member was also asked to submit their membership form urgently. The identification card and uniform was also tackled.
After all the agenda was tackled, the acting secretary gave the recap of the meeting. The gathering ended with a dua by Ustadz Mashod Bausi.
