UNYPAD SK holds Seminar on IsIamic Leadership and Community Organizing at Lutayan

LUTAYAN, SUKTAN KUDARAT (February 16, 2021) — The United Youth For Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Sultan Kudarat recently conducted the Seminar-Workshop on Islamic Leadership and Community Organizing for the officers and members of UNYPAD Lutayan Municipal Chapter.
The activity was aimed at educating the youth that would help them in advocating peace and development which is the main thrust of UNYPAD.
Yusoph S. Lumambas, Secretary General of UNYPAD, shared the importance of Islamic leadership.
According to him, the qualifications of a leader include possessing knowledge and fear to the Almighty Allah. He also discussed about community organizing.
UNYPAD Committee on Campaign & Advocacy, Thoe Bin Abdullah, gave emphasis on the importance of social media which can be used in promoting peace and development.
Abdullah also explained the importance of communication in an organization and to the daily affairs of man.
The activity won the support and appreciation of the Local Government Unit of Lutayan under the leadership of Mayor Datu Prince Raden Sakaluran.
The town mayor was impressed of the mission and vision of UNYPAD.
UNYPAD Lutayan Municipal Chairman Abdulmaula Samakon said they learned a lot in the activity. He also thanked their Women’s Affairs Committee Chairperson Naima Lintukan.
Provincial Chairman Ibrahim S. Nor underscored the importance to enhance the skills of the youth and can be used in sending the message of peace in the communities.
