UNYPAD-SK commends Muslimah group for conducting Islamic Leadership and Org’l Management Seminar

PALIMBANG, SULTAN KUDARAT (February 23, 2021) — The United Youth for Peace and Development, Inc. (UNYPAD) lauded the organization of Muslim women for successfully conducting “Islamic Leadership and Organizational Management Seminar” held at Sitio Balili, Brgy. Puloy, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat on February 20, 2021.
The event was hosted by Jam’iyatul Inma Littabsirah (JIL), a group of Muslimah coming from the towns of Palimbang, Lebak and Kalamansig, all in Sultan Kudarat Province.
JIL conducted the event in its will to enrich the youth with adequate knowledge on Islamic leadership and managing organization.
The keynote speaker was Abdulrashid C. Midzapak, Chairman of the Halal Council of Sultan Kudarat, Sultan Pax Islamic Institute (SPII) Administrator and UNYPAD Regional Coordinator for Southern Mindanao.
He was joined by Parid Abdulkarim, the Vice Chairman for External Affairs of UNYPAD Sultan Kudarat Provincial Chapter Cluster I.
The UNYPAD Sultan Kudarat Provincial Chapter Cluster II officers based in Palimbang witnessed the event through the invitation of Abdulrashid C. Midzapak.
In behalf to the SK Provincial Chapter Cluster II Chairman Datu Ahmad G. Utto, delegated his officers to this event in the person of Warid U. Tuanadatu, Vice Chairman for External Affairs,, Basarodin P. Kanda, Vice Chairman for Internal Affairs, and Marhomzar O. Ubpon, Secretary-General.
The newly established Municipal Chapter of Kraan headed by Mohaliden M. Rakman, his Vice Internal Mohaliden Timbao, and Nu-Amin Abdul were also present in this seminar.
UNYPAD-SK hopes to build future connections with the active organization of women in Palimbang, Kalamansig and Lebak in terms of activities that suits the inclusivity of all Bangsamoro youth and adults alike through Da’wah and Islamic Seminars/Symposiums and other related course of activities that implies Islamic values and teachings as well as leadership and management.
This event was so momentous for it became the venue for the members of UNYPAD Sultan Kudarat Chapter Cluster II to greet and meet the focal person that chairs the Muslim Affairs of the local government of Lebak, Sultan Kudarat, Ibrahim Manlud, who was present to pay visit and courtesy to the event organizers.
The activity had become a hallmark and a new opportunity for the SK Provincial Chapter Cluster II to capacitate its officers and members and establish link with the local government of Lebak
Ibrahim Manlud is also an Islamic preacher in the vicinity of Lebak and Kalamansig and he also conveyed that he is one of the focal person for peace in the name of UBJP and the CCCH.
The officers of UNYPAD SK Provincial Chapter Cluster II said they did not come to prevail nor to waste time, but to espouse peace.
They added that UNYPAD wants to share the same dream, ideals and aspiration for the Bangsamoro youth.
UNYPAD is a nationwide organization of Bangsamoro youth that calls for unity for the attainment of peace and development in Mindanao.
