UNYPAD SK Prov’l Chapter continues program for the youth

ISULAN, SULTAN KUDARAT (March 2, 2021) – The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Sultan Kudarat (SK) Provincial Chapter continued with its program for the youth hosting Islamic Leadership and Organizational Management Seminar Workshop at Barangay Mapantig in this town on February 28, 2021.
The activity was part of its organizing efforts in its area of responsibility aimed to increase the capacity of the youth to become productive, effective and peace-loving citizens.
Yusoph Lumambas, UNYPAD Secretary-General, underscored the importance of Islamic leadership and it is advantage for the young Muslim leaders to lead in accordance with Islamic perspective.
Meanwhile, Morsid U. Guiapal, UNYPAD-SK Vice-Chairman for Internal Affairs, gave emphasis on the importance of community organizing.
“It is necessary that you know the kind of community and its dynamics such that you will be able to carry out your advocacies effectively,” he said.
Haron P. Sumensil, Deputy Chief of Investigation and Detection Management Branch of Sultan Kudarat Provincial Police Office graced the affair, he stressed to the participants the importance of Islamic education for the youth which the UNYPAD undertakes for it will benefit them even in the hereafter.
Also present to give moral support was PCpl Manolito Dignadice of Isulan Municipal Police Office.
He expressed his regret for there are youth who are misguided and urged the participants not to join wrong organizations.
“You might go to wrong organization. UNYPAD is here to teach you good lessons and the characters of good leader so that you will become effective and efficient members of our society,” he added.
The police officers expressed their support to UNYPAD and said that their agencies are one with the people in quest for peaceful and developed province.
