UNYPAD Research and Information Committee facilitates simultaneous writeshops

PIKIT, COTABATO PROVINCE (March 4, 2021) — The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) – North Cotabato Cluster II conducted a simultaneously the Letter Writing and Activity Design Writeshops last February 21, 2021 at Makatabang residence in Pagagawan, Maguindanao and UNYPAD sub- office, Batulawan, in this town.

The activities were participated by members of Committee on Research and Information (CRI) and Municipal Secretaries of Pikit, Aleosan, Pagalungan and Datu Montawal Chapters.

This aimed to clad the participants with the necessary and uniformed letter writing format, activity design-making format and proper documentation for the data banking program of provincial CRI.

Jhoe P. Balabagan, Provincial Committee on Campaign and Advocacy Secretary, emphasized the importance of the said writeshop.

“We have to properly document our activity as monitoring tools for the tracking of our individual development and organizational performance,” he said.

Abdulnasser “Ton” Andik and Rahim M. Lasak, a Provincial Committee on Research and Information members, facilitated the writeshop in two separated venues.

“Your letter and activity design must be attributed as SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time Bound, ” Andik pointed out while explaining the simple way for conducting documentation.

Lasak also said, “If every chapter can able to practice this process of documentation and letter writing, I can visualize that most of the NCC-2 programs and services will be comprehensive, effective and efficient.”

“It is really helpful, this writeshop, it would give us confidence in making strategic planning, letters, and executing our future activities, ” Rahib A. Ulangkay, Chairman of UNYPAD Balong Chapter, pointed out.

Amidst the unfavorable weather condition, the participants were never fazed and the activity ended successfully.
