UNYPAD SK Chapter II establishes Maganao Municipal Chapter SULTAN KUDARAT

PALIMBANG, SULTAN KUDARAT (March 15, 2021) — The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Sultan Kudarat Provincial Chapter Cluster II reached another milestone enabling to establish the Municipal Chapter of Maganao last Sunday (March 7) 2021.
The undertaking was realized after its extensive community organizing efforts anchored in its action plan for the current year.
The organizing team were able to engage brilliant youth from the target communities who joined UNYPAD without any hesitation and were impressed of the organization’s mission, vision and goals.
The keynote speakers thoroughly explained UNYPAD’s principles and the Islamic leadership concepts it tries to promote.
One of the hallmark of this event was the guest speaker Alhafidz Mon-em K. Usman, who rendered his knowledge and support for the organization.
He underscored the importance of youth participation and related his engagement with the organization how he became the SK Provincial Chapter Committee Chairman on Da’wah and Education.
Marhomzar O. Ubpon was tasked to orient the participants with its brief background and its objectives.
Fahmiya Dimakilang Kirab, MAEd, was the speaker for Islamic Traits of Leadership.
She highlighted the ideal leader which is Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and narrated how humble the Messenger was. She asked, “In today’s time, how many are humble?” The speaker also lectured of Community Organizing.
Khominie T. Baguilan imparted knowledge on the Bangsamoro Youth Situation where he engaged the participants into with dynamic discussion.
The young audiences also shared their ideas on how to help their fellow youth.
The event was supported by the local officials and they gave their part and messages for the youth.
Hon. Brgy Captain Nano W. Pangansayan said, “Dikana kano matag minatend sya. Panuliman kano para kano kagkapya nu a mga kangudan (You did not attend here for whatever purpose. Be active for the betterment of the youth).
“Dikano matag pakikineg sa dala madtanggit nu muli. Itago nu sa ginawa su mga bityala (Do not listen without anything to bring home. Bear in mind what were discussed here),” he said.
”The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman Hon. Jobina Usop also gave her message of support for the youth.
The whole day program was full of good vibes and it made the youth feel the open environment for their skills and knowledge to promote and develop in this organization.
