UNYPAD-Mangudadatu conducts oath-taking ceremony, updates on GPH-MILF peace gains

MANGUDADATU, MAGUINDANAO (April 6, 2021) — The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Mangudadatu Chapter simultaneously conducted oath-taking ceremony to its new members and updates on the peace gains of the government of the Philippines and Moro Islamic Liberation Front on April 4, 2021 at Barangay Kalian, this town.

More or less 100 individuals comprised of provincial and municipal officers and those from barangays Daldagan and Kalian attended the event.

The inducted officers learned their tasks and responsibilities in the orientation that was facilitated by Amad Musa, provincial chairman of Maguindanao Cluster III. He also officiated the oath-taking ceremony.

Musa explained the visions, missions, goals, objectives, programs and services of UNYPAD.

“The main work of UNYPAD is to train and educate the young generation to become a good, competitive leaders and God fearing citizens,” he said.

Musa added that UNYPAD trains the young generation to mobilize them on their role in the society and mold them as the second line of leaders who will continue the moral governance being espoused by the current leadership of the Bangsamoro.
Datuan M. Magon, UNYPAD Deputy Secretary for Administration, discussed the chronological implementation of the both political and normalization tracks of the Philippine government and MILF peace negotiation deal.

Sanggunian Kabataan President Datu Usop Kamad in his privilege message said, “We support your programs and services any time we can talk about your programs.”
UNYPAD-Mangudadatu is chaired by Usman Mangudadatu. The chapter is under UNYPAD Maguindanao Cluster III.

Omar Abdullah, Barangay Secretary of Kalian, gave the welcome address while Ustadz Badrodin Benol, Deputy Chairman of Committee on Da’wah and Education in provincial chapter delivered the opening remarks.
