UNYPAD NCC II inducts new officers and members in Lagunde

PIKIT, COTABATO (April 6, 2021) — The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) North Cotabato Cluster (NCC) II Lagunde Chapter inducted its newly installed members in Barangay Lagunde held on April 3, 2021 in this town to formalize their inclusion in the organization as legitimate members.

Organizers hoped that the newly inducted officers and members will become agents of transformation in the society most specially in Bangsamoro homeland.

Mastura Balabagan, Barangay Kagawad, in his welcome address pointed out that, “We are very happy because you are helping us to organize and mobilize youth to become members of your organizaiton(UNYPAD).”

“Always keep in your mind that we will support your programs and services in order to capacitate the youth to become a fruitful leader,” he pointed out.

Jhoe Balabagan, member of Committee on Campaign and Advocacy of NCC II, explained the tasks and functions of every committee in the organization.

“Every position is just temporary. What makes it last is the history we lived doing our responsibility and that is why we need to do our responsibility,” he said.

Balabagan added, “As such in the day of judgment, surely Allah ask those whom he entrusted the positions.”

Sakil Laguiban, Barangay Kagawad said in his inspirational message, “Every one of us is a leader doing our obligation to attain the prosperous peace and development in Bangsamoro homeland.”

Zahabudin Palalisan, representative from NCC II, expressed his gratitude to the organizers. “We cannot explain our happiness seeing men and women working together to realize this activity,” he said.

He commended the chapter and hoped for the immediate implementation of capacity-building activities such as training/seminars, and forums in order to achieve the common goal of the organization.
