UNYPAD Buliok Chapter conducts Iftar, Islamic Symposium

BULIOK, PIKIT, COTABATO PROVINCE (April 22, 2021) — The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Buliok Pagalungan North Cotabato Chapter II (NCCII) conducted Pabuka (Iftar) and Islamic Symposium with the theme of “Ramadhan: a hope for Unity, Spiritual, Advancement, Forgiveness, and Self-cleansing, at Buliok One (1) on April 18, 2021 which corresponds to the 7th day of Ramadhan.

More than a hundred participants coming from seven SItios of the Barangay joined the activity.

Shiekh Nasrudin Musa, Member of Committee on Da’wah and Education UNYPAD National, discussed about Aqeeda Islamiya and Fawaidul Ramadhan.

He quoted the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) about the importance of Ramadhan.

“If the Ramadhan will come, the door of Jannah (heaven) will be opened and the door of Nar (hell) will be closed and the shaytan (devil) will be tied,” he said.

Shiekh Harris Mamengkog, Member of Committee on Da’wah and Education UNYPAD National discussed Fadilatu Ramadhan.

He discussed about the four (4) reasons such that one’s supplications will be accepted and that included fasting from fajar to sunset, good leader, and traveler.

Mamengkog also cited the saying of Abubakren Assideq that there are four reasons why the supplication will be not accepted.
“These are being in confusion, being hasty, not focusing, and not avoiding Haram,” he explained.

The resource person added that Ramadhan will teach Muslims to become united.

Buliok Punong Barangay, Hon. Ebrahim Mohamad, also showed his gratitude to the activity. He thanked the organizer for holding the event in their barangay for it would benefit their young constituency.

Among the attendees are BLGU of Buliok, Shiekh Ali Musiba, and representatives of the Political Committee of Buliok 1.
