UNYPAD Panicupan Chapter holds Mobile Iftar, Islamic Symposium

PIKIT, Cotabato Province (May 12, 2021) — The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Panicupan Chapter of Pikit North Cotabato Cluster II (NCCII) conducted mobile Iftar and Islamic Symposium in partnership with Bangsamoro Lumpukan Family (BLF) and Masajid Affairs at Masjid Bilal, Panicupan, Pikit Cluster 1 in two mosques of Barangay Panicupan on May 5, 2021.
More than a hundred participants from different Sitios and nearby barangays attended the activity including the visitors of Masajid affairs.
BLF officers headed by the President, Kaharudin Bayangan, UNYPAD provincial officers headed by Badrodin Mamendig, municipal officers headed by the chairman of Pikit, Mustapha Sanduyogan were present in the event.
Also in the program to show their support were the officers of Social Welfare Committee (SWC), Bangsamoro Task Force Ittihad (BTFI), parents and other religious leaders of the community.
The activities was aimed at propagating more knowledge on Islam, strengthening the faith of individuals, promoting brotherhood in Islam, and also encouraging the youth to do some beneficial initiatives in the community.
Sheikh Zulkifr G. Abdulbayan, member and Hadith teacher of BLF, talked about Laylatul Qadr and the significance of Ramadhan especially its last 10 days.
Ustadz Morshid Balabagan, member of Masajid Affairs and Secretary on Committee on Da’wah and Education – Mahad Ahley Chapter talked about Aqeedah(faith).
“Every learning we have gained and every advice of our parents, we have to keep it in our minds and put in our hearts,” he stressed.
Member of Masajid Affairs, Ustadz Ali Tagal, discussed about the role of Ramadhan in strengthening Islamic Brotherhood.
“This Ramadhan will teach you and your family to practice doing what is right,” Ustadz Tagal emphasized.
Ustadz Muhaliden Butato, also a member of Masajid Affairs, gave some advices in his short Muhadara.
Organizers said Panicupan Chapter will continue its mobile Iftar in other mosques and still looking forward for their activities to be conducted before the year 2021 ends.
Chairman of Panicupan Chapter, Datu Kong Kasid, was very thankful for the participants and their officers and member for their efforts and support that led to the successful conduct of the activity.
Chairwoman Norhata K. Panabal-Bayangan and their members in WAC managed their time to work until Suhor.
Kasid urged the officers and members of the chapter to sustain their volunteerism towards the realization of the planned activities of the organization for the whole year.
