UNYPAD Sultan Kudarat Provincial Chapter facilitates qurbani distribution for poor families

ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat (July 26, 2021) — The United Youth for Peace and Development(UNYPAD) – Sultan Kudarat Provincial Chapter facilitated the distribution of qurbani donated by Yayasan Ammirul Ummani, AFMY, and IMBnet benefitting poor families of this province.
Five cows were slaughtered and whose meats were distributed to hundreds of identified poor families in Sultan Kudarat province. The activity is in observance of Eid’l Adha, one of the two holidays in the Muslim world.
Sharing qurbani is an act of worship is widely practiced by the Muslim ummah. Islam ordains Muslims who can afford to slaughter either sheep, cow, camel or goat during Eidul Adha and whose meat is to be shared to poor Muslims.
It is stipulated in the glorious Qur’an and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad. Ustadz Ibrahim S. Nor, Provincial Chairman of UNYPAD- SK Chapter expressed his utmost appreciation to Yayasan Ammirul Ummani, AFMY, and IMBnet, the same sponsors who extended the qurbani in the previous years in this province.
Beneficiary families were so delighted and thankful to the sponsors as well as the facilitators for the outreach initiative.
