UNYPAD Coastal Ranao joins BTA-hosted youth consultation

GENERAL SANTOS CITY ( August 4, 2021) — Representatives of the United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Coastal Ranao participated in the “Youth Consultation in Aid of Legislation” hosted by the Office of MP Atty. Maisara Damdamun-Latiph, member of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) held at the IPDM in Mindanao State University Main Campus, Marawi City, on July 29, 2021.

The UNYPAD Coastal Ranao delegates were Khalid Bin’Walid Marohom, Nad Jeb and Alinor who imparted their experiences and ideas to achieve the goals of the activity.

“Alhamdulillah, a great privilege to be with the youth who are extremely good in sharing their different experiences of their organizations in terms of advocacies and objectives,” Alinor said.

“We shared our opinions and raised our concerns and recommendations to be addressed by the appropriate agency,” he added.

It is also the objective of the consultation to draw suggestions from the participants on how to improve the economic situation of the youth in the Bangsamoro region and how to entice them to engage in agriculture.

The consultation further aimed to elicit recommendations from the delegates on what programs that may be implemented that would benefit the young Bangsamoro.

The participants expressed their gratitude to MP Maisara-Latiph for the opportunity to impart their knowledge and opinions.

The participants were given ample time to discuss the issues and concerns among the Bangsamoro youth and consolidated their recomendations to address the challenges faced by the young constituents of the autonomous region. [Photo courtesy of UNYPAD Coastal Ranao]
