UNYPAD NCC-II participates in ‘Shukor Caravan’

PIKIT, North Cotabato (September 20, 2021) – The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Inc. North Cotabato Cluster-II participated In the conduct of ‘Shukor Caravan’ an activity of the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) held on September 18, 2021 from Cotabato ity to Buluan, Maguindanao.
The goal of the historic event was to express ‘Shukor’ (gratitude) of the Bangsamoro people to President Rodrigo Duterte for certifying as urgent the bill extending the period of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) to 2025.
UNYPAD NCC II Secretary Zulkarnain Kudto recorded more than 100 vehicles comprised of motorcycles and other types of 4-wheel vehicle used in the event provided by the different chapters of four municipalities coming from Aleosan, Pikit, Pagalungan and Datu Montawal.
Hamsa Landayan, UNYPAD NCC II Provincial Chairman, led his colleagues in the noble undertaking joining the caravan with the support of municipal chairmen and the Women Affairs Committee (WAC).
Dr. Rahib L. Kudto, UNYPAD National President said, “The UNYPAD leadership is very much grateful for your participation in this Shukor Caravan. We feel your sincere support because all of us here are among the people of the crowd who are in the position to demand and seek to further extend the period of BTA.”
“This is the only way to further sustain the peace process and continue the GPH (Government of the Philippines- MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front) agreement, he said.
“Our participation today is to express our collective gratitude to our dear President for certifying the bill urgent and to the Congress,” he said.
In his message, NCC-II chairman Ustadz Hamsa Landayan, said, “Let us further strengthen our organization because our struggle does not end here. One reason is that we, youth, have a big role to play in sustaining this government that we have achieved.”
“Always be reminded not to aspire because what we just doing preparing ourselves,” he pointed out.
Bangsamoro people all over the world are expressing their gratitude for extending the BTA to 2025.
