UNYPAD NCC-II Pagalungan chapter conducts orientation, induction program

PAGALUNGAN, Maguindanao (September 23, 2021) – The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) North Cotabato Cluster II conducted orientation and induction program to the newly established barangay chapter on September 21, 2021 in this town.
There were 50 participants including UNYPAD officers and members, Barangay Local Government Unit, Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces, Political Committee and representatives of other sectors.
Establishing new chapters is the major program of UNYPAD to reorganize new members and capacitate them to become effective and efficient members of the society.
Manny Lumea, Barangay Chairman, welcomed the UNYPAD team saying, “I am so thankful because UNYPAD spearheads this kind of activity in our barangay and I assure you that you are all welcome.”
“Any activity that promotes lslam, you can expect our support,” he added.
Abdulkarim Tado, Secretary of the Committee on Da’wah and Education in Pagalungan chapter, discussed the Aquidah Islamiya and the role of youth in the Bangsamoro struggle
“Jihad continues until the end of our lives. Joining UNYPAD will surely teach you the true meaning of jihad especially in maximizing your potentials to become agent of change in the community,” he underscored.
Also present during the activity was Abdulnasser A. Andik, a member of Committee on Research and Information NCC-ll, who discussed and elaborated the vision, mission, goals and objectives of organization (UNYPAD).
The newly appointed Chairwoman Hameda Esmael of Kilangan Chapter shared her emotional and very inspiring journey in joining UNYPAD.
“I can’t leave Kilangan because my journey started here, you trained me to become one of your writer in NCC-ll,” she said.
“UNYPAD become an instrument why I am here and able to speak in front of you because this organization help me boost my self-confidence,” she added.
Nasrudin Landaila, Vice-Chairman for External Affairs, read the acceptance message of the officers and members of the newly established barangay chapter.
The chapter is looking forward for the immediate implementation of capability building and other extension services of the organization.
