UNYPAD NCCII conducts orientation activity

PIKIT, Cotabato Province ( October 16, 2021) – The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) North Cotabato Cluster II (NCCII) Batulawan Chapter conducted an orientation activity at Barangay Batulawan, this town, on October 9, 2021 to educate the chapter members about the organization and its goals.
On his rationale, Vice-Chairman for Internal affairs Badrudin Mamendig, enlightened the participants with regards to the purpose of the activity. “After this activity, we assure you that you will be enlightened on the reasons behind of bringing you to this organization,” he said.
Ustadz Abdulkarim Montok, Committee on Da’wah and Education, shared his knowledge and experiences in engaging with the organization as he discussed the topic on Islamic orientation.
“If the youth will engage themselves in this organization I will guarantee that they are in a right path because UNYPAD is guided by the Qur’an and Sunnah,” he narrated.
In his orientation proper, Rahim M. Lasak, Provincial Secretary on Committee on Campaign and Advocacy, related the experiences of UNYPAD in its various undertakings to support the Bansgamoro peace process and he also explained the vision, mission and goals of the organization.
“We must understand our vision because this is our guide on how we can deal to any challenges we may encounter in achieving our goals,” he said.
Lasak added, “Once you are in UNYPAD we will assure you that you become more productive and purposeful in your family and the community as well. As UNYPAD promised, it will give you hope to become productive individuals.”
Deputy Secretary for Administration, Datuan Magon, shared the updates on the Bangsamoro peace process.
He enjoined the participants to actively be involved in the organization and support the Bangsamoro government which espouses good governance.
UNYPAD NCCII chairman, Hamza Landayan, also shared the three stages in achieving the success of an organization.
“Always be reminded of this saying, ‘Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is a progress and lastly working together is a success’,” he emphasized.
Nida Makatabang, UNYPAD NCCII Chairwoman, also inspired the youth specially the women citing, “UNYPAD gave space for the women the full autonomy in leading our fellow women.”
On her message of support, Kabaiyan Malida, Barangay kagawad, said, “What you are doing now is the beginning of developing yourselves and whenever you have any initiative in the development of our community always think that, we, as your mentors, are always behind your back and we will always support you.”
