UNYPAD Lutayan conducts Proper Handling of Meeting, Journalism Seminar-Workshop

LUTAYAN, Sultan Kudarat (Dec. 7, 2021) – The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) UNYPAD Lutayan Municipal Chapter conducted a Procedure and Handling of Meeting and Basic Journalism Seminar-Workshop on December 4-5, 2021 in Markadz Rawad, Barangay Mamali, this town.

It was aimed to increase the knowledge of the participants in handling meeting and journalism as part of their organizational development efforts.

Around 40 members of Lutayan chapter including the Women’s Affairs Committee (WAC) attended the activity.

On the first day of the training, UNYPAD Deputy Secretary-General Datuan M. Magon shared about proper meeting management and how effective it is in reaching the goals within the organization.

On the second day, Norsahid D. Benito from UNYPAD SK’s Campaign and Advocacy Committee, gave tips for Video Editing, Basic Graphic Design and elaborated the use of social media in advancing the advocacy of the organization.

News Writing was handled by UNYPAD SK Vice-Chairman  for Internal Affairs.

The said activity was also attended by our brothers from UNYPAD NCCIII.

Badrudin Ali, the current Provincial Secretary of NCC III, UNYPAD is not able to provide financial support but it will provide various training skills for its members.

“UNYPAD has also taught us to be instruments in promoting peace and development and this is the challenge for us today on how we can sustain it,” Ali said.

In the said program Provincial Chairman Ibrahim S. Nor placed as WAC Chairwoman of the Lutayan Chapter Nisan Sandigan of which the Provincial Council agreed to such a decision.

Nor stressed that UNYPAD will never get tired of serving the youth and developing them in a good way.

“We must strengthen the organization and fulfill our respective position. We at UNYPAD are not position oriented,” he said.

Nor added, “We are working not for anything but because it is an act of worship to Allah.”

In the last part of the program there was an oath taking for the officers and members of the Lutayan Municipal Chapter.

Brother Norodin Dimaukom from the office of the Vice President for Internal Affairs UNYPAD National witnessed the ceremony.

He urged the newly-installed officers and members to do their best for the realization of UNYPAD’s objectives.

The Lutayan Chapter thanked the leadership of their Municipal Chairman Brother Abdulmaula Samacon.
