Highlighted in the workshops was the role play of the participants on the style of leaders; the leaders who dictate, consult, and are participative.
Leaders who dictate, according to Atty. Tulino, are those “who make their own decision and will later inform the group of their plan, handle all pertinent information and no accountability to the group.”
“The leader who consults is encouraging member to be participative but the decision does not necessarily all come from them while the leader who is participative encourages mutual sharing of information among the group members and the decision will fully be coming from them,” he elaborated.
Resource speakers were Atty. Mahmod Tulino, chairman of Maguindanao cluster-2, Norodin Guiamaludin, the vice chairman for internal affairs, provincial secretary, Tu Alid Alfonso, vice president for internal affairs of the UNYPAD national chapter.
