LAMBAYONG, Sultan Kudarat (April 22, 2016) – Muslim youth from different barangays of Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat province have expressed their support and joined the activities of United Youth for Peace and Development, Inc. (UNYPAD) as a Moro youth organization in the country during a UNYPAD community orientation program last April 16, 2016 at Mahad Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat.
The activity was made through the efforts of UNYPAD Sultan Kudarat Provincial Chapter under the leadership of Ibrahim S. Nor.
The program was in partnership with the Sigay Bangsamoro for Peace and Development, Inc. (SBPAD), a newly organized Lambayong-based non-government organization which also advocating peace in the community.
Resource speakers were Norodin P. Dimaokom, a representative from the UNYPAD National Chapter at the same time Director of Mindanaon Humanitarian and Development Initiative, Inc.(MinHuDi) and Ustadz Saide Mustapha of UNYPAD-Sultan Kudarat chapter.
Ustadz Morsie Makabangen, Mudeer of Mahad Lamayong Al-Islamie welcomed the UNYPAD officers and appreciated the efforts of the team by selecting Mahad Lambayong as venue of the activity and by inviting Muslim youth to become members of the UNYPAD.
