TAGUIG, Metro Manila (July 15, 2015) —The National Capital Region (NCR) Chapter of the United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) and its organized mothers (UMMAHAT) under the UNYPAD Luzon Regional Cluster conducted an Islamic Symposium last July 7, 2015 (Ramadhan 20, 1436H) as part of yearly Ramadhan activity of the organization.
The program was held at the Madrasah Panangan Panagandaman, Maharlika, Taguig City, Metro Manila, which was was participated in by Bangsamoro men and women residents nearby the Madrasah as well as guests from neighboring community.
“After the salaatul taraweh the participants started to gather inside, all are prepared including the facilitators as well as the ustadzes who gave lecture. Alhamdulillah, it was a successful event,” said Sajid Khan T. Tula, UNYPAD-NCR Chairman.
“The event really enlightened the participants regarding matters on Ramdhan,” he said.
Kamim Macmod, UNYPAD Luzon Cluster Regional Coordinator said that the purpose of the activity is to indoctrine Islam as a way of life and to help them (Bangsamoro in Metro Manila) strenghten their belief. (UNYPAD News)
