UNYPAD North Cotabato Cluster 2 Chapter set plans for BOL advocacy

COTABATO CITY/November 06, 2018 – The UNYPAD Cluster 2 Provincial Chapter executive officers of North Cotabato organized a special meeting to present the group accomplishments and plan of activities to be implemented by the different chapters held at Batulawan Pikit, North Cotabato on November 3, 2018.

Provincial Vice Chairman for External Affairs Badrudin Mamendig said each chapter  has come up with a planning for advocacy and campaign for the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL).  There were also intensive discussions on strengthening the programs on organizing.

‘’It was a wonderful and fruitful day sitting with the group of people discussing possible contributions on peace for the Bangsamoro in Mindanao,” said by Shiek Ali Guaimil, who delivered his words of wisdom during the meeting.

The Women Affairs Committee (WAC) also enthusiastically shared updates regarding its successful accomplished activities for the past couple of months. Among the activities are: (a) series of advocacies and information drive on BOL; and (b) community organizing.

Ustadz Hamsa Landayan, Chairman of the UNYPAD Cluster 2, warmly and cheerfully thanked the officers of the different chapters for their very active participation in implementing the programs of the UNYPAD.

“Sana ay mas lalo pa nating pagtibayin ang  pagsasagawa at pagpapatupad ng ating tungkulin sa organisasyong ito sa abot pa ng ating makakaya’’ he said in vernacular.

The UNYPAD Secretary General for Admin Dats Magon supervised the meeting. Magon was requested by the group to give a brief input regarding the current situation and some initial future plan and possible activities of the National chapter.

The meeting ended with having crafted effective strategies in implementing the BOL advocacy and programs of the chapter.
