Youth, Community Leaders in Lutayan of Sultan Kudarat Province welcome UNYPAD

LUTAYAN, Sultan Kudarat (June 21, 2015) – The United Youth for Peace and Development, Inc. (UNYPAD) Sultan Kudarat Chapter has conducted an orientation for the newly organized members of UNYPAD at the municipality of Lutayan, Sultan Kudarat on June 13, 2014.

The said orientation was initiated by Datu Ben Macasayon.

“At least 60 youth joined the UNYPAD,” said Dimaokom.

Ibrahim Paja, Barangay Secretary of Lutayan Proper, said: “You are always welcome to conduct any activity in our place, especially the orientation of UNYPAD.”

The Vice President for Internal Affairs of the UNYPAD, Tu Alid Afonso, discussed before the participants the organization’s vision, mission, goals, objectives, and programs and services.

“Here in UNYPAD, we used to implant first the spirituality to our members through our capacity building program,” Alfonso emphasized.

“…And this leads them (members) to work voluntarily because they already knew the benefits and rewards they could gain out of it,” Alfonso added.

The newly appointed officers of the UNYPAD-Lutayan Municipal Chapter of the Sultan Kudarat were officially recognized in the said affair. The appointed officers have promised to do their tasks with the help of their co-officers and support of the leaders in Lutayan.

National Staff of the Committee on Da’wah and Education, Ustadz Zuharto Mamengkog, has imparted the importance of the role of youth as instrument in building a peaceful society.
