UNYPAD North Cotabato Cluster II Chapter plans to conduct General Assembly

COTABATO CITY/JULY 4, 2019 – The UNYPAD Cluster II Provincial Chapter of North Cotabato conducted a provincial regular meeting on June 29, 2019 attended by officers and members from provincial level down to barangay chapters.
A total of 28 participants joined the meeting representing four municipalities such as Pagalungan, Datu Montawal, Pikit and Aleosan, all from North Cotabato province.
Provincial Chairman Hamza Landayan and Vice Chairman Badrudin Mamendig presented two agenda. First agenda was updating. Each representatives from each municipality gave update on the activities conducted during the month of Ramadhan, and other activities of UNYPAD. The second agenda was the proposed general assembly of Cluster II.
The facilitators presented the possible activities which are aligned on activities of UNYPAD. “We expect more or less five thousand participants who will be attending the proposed general assembly from barangays up to provincial level,” Mamendig said.
The Deputy Secretary General of UNYPAD, Mr. Datuan ‘’Dhats’’ Magon, was also present during the meeting. He shared input on concept note for the proposed first general assembly. He said, “This activity is part of the four major programs and services of the organization.” Magon also highlighted the participation and contributions of UNYPAD in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
“We all know that UNYPAD had experienced many trials but we did our best to sustain our aspiration in organizing those potential youth leaders. We did not expect to receive any material thing in this world but only the reward from Allah,” Mr. Magon said.
‘’The youth of today will be the hope of tomorrow. This is the aim of UNYPAD; to produce more youth leaders for the next generation,” he further stressed.
Prior to the general assembly, series of meetings should be conducted to tackle about the tasks and responsibilities per municipality and committee, the participants have agreed.
