Pikit-Cluster III conducts a cluster-wide consultation with religious sector

ALEOSAN, COTABATO (October 1, 2020) – Pikit-Cluster III, along with some people from outside its jurisdiction, held consultation and evaluation with the a religious sector at Mahaad Kutawato Simalie Al-Islamie, Manaulanan, in Pikit, Province of Cotabato.
Part of the preliminary activity was giving the Asatidz (Madrasah teachers) and organizational leaders of different barangays the time to share their updates from their respective communities.
The program officially started by an opening prayer led by Al-qari Mu’min Magalayun.
Ustadz Abdulkadir Musa delivered the opening remarks and one of the things he emphasized was the importance of people’s view of the administration.
“Umpungan a irespeto enggu enggan tanu sa alaga (We should respect and value our leaders), “ said Ustadz Musa.

He presented platform of Bangsamoro Govenrment being led by Chief Minister Al Hadj Ebrahim Murad which includes education, health, economic development, and infrastructure development.
Sheikh Dalinan also stressed that Christians and Muslims are very close to each other now.
He also mentioned the future establishment of Sheik Salamat Hashim University of which the site is still being decided.
In his part, Pikit Cluster III Area Coordinator Jimmy Y. Adil, said one of the biggest concern he is the illegal drugs urging everyone not to involve themselves with it.
Adil also highlighted the support he made to his constituents, including the youths, and the professionals.
He also informed the audiences that, he, along with other people, is now in the stage of creating a Cluster Comprehensive Development Plan (CCDP), which includes the area’s Mission, Vision, Goals, along with other programs that would benefit many.
Present in the program to show their support the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the presence of 1Lt. Daniel Pascual, Alpha Company Commander, 90th IB.
“Nandito tayong lahat dahil naniniwala tayo, nakita nating kailangang magbago yung ating lugar. Kailangang magbago ang pamumuhay natin (We are here for we believe that we should develop our place. We should improve our way of living),”Pascual said.
He also added “Naniniwala ako na kailangan nating pagtulung-tulungan ang pagbabago (I believe that we need to be united in quest for change).
The AFP provided the security for the whole duration of the program.
Provincial Secretary of Ligawasan Province, Johnson Endil, explained how the help from the government works along with other important matters.
The participants were given time to clarify matters and other concerns during the open forum.
Ustadz Saguira Tayuan ended the program thanking the guests and participants.
The event was made possible by the efforts of the youths of Cluster III which include the United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Tapodoc Chapter and with the support of AFP and the administration of Manaulanan.
Organizers assured that health protocols were strictly observed particularly the wearing of face masks and following social distancing.
