UNYPAD Pagalungan Chapter conducted series of orientation

PAGALUNGAN, MAGUINDANAO (December 2, 2020) — The United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Pagalungan Chapter successfully carried out the orientation program for the youths in Barangay Buliok, this town, last November 22, 2020.
The activity was part the series of organizing programs of UNYPAD North Cotabato Cluster 2, aiming to produce productive and efficient young leaders for the future of Bangsamoro society.
Abdurrahim Balabagan, Head of Committee on Campaign and Advocacy, explained the vision of the organization that is to become a development center to produce excellent young leaders.
He likened UNYPAD to that of a “walking university.”
Brgy Capt. Ebrahim D. Mohamad expressed his gratitude and support to the organizing activity of UNYPAD. He said, ‘’The youth is our hope, help us mobilize and educate them in Islamic aspects to become a responsible youth leaders in the society,” he said.
Ustadz Fahad Mokalam talked about Aqeedah Islamiya in connection to the organizing of UNYPAD for the progress of young leaders.
Datuan ‘Dats’ Magon, UNYPAD Deputy Secretary for Administration, elaborated the two possible problems that the Bangsamoro encounter today, the continuity of Bangsamoro struggle and the building of second liner leaders in the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
‘’Our parents has survived or martyred in the name of our Jıhad. They used their assets to serve our struggle for the right to self-determination and for that reason, help us to support UNYPAD to build and develop the second liner leaders in Bangsamoro struggle,” he added.
Usop Mohamad, Jail Warden of Reformatory Center in Camp Rajah Muda expressed his support to the activity and the objectives of UNYPAD.
According to him, “We should build and educate the youth to become productive and responsible young leaders in the future for the sake of our jihad as a whole.’’
Among the attendees were officers and members of the different organized chapters of UNYPAD Pagalungan and Pikit and officers from Political Committee of MILF.
