UNYPAD Datu Montawal conducted oath taking ceremony

Anchored on the theme “Advancing Leadership and Addressing Ethical challenges for Progressive and Unified Young Bangsamoro,” the activity was joined by more or less 60 participants from different sitios, nearby barangays, and nearby municipalities.
The UNYPAD Executive officers, head of committees from national, provincial officers and Women Affairs Committee (WAC), Barangay officials and Political Committee were also present.
The newly inducted officers and members expressed their commitment to heed the mission and vision of the organization.
The activity, aimed to strengthen the brotherhood and solidarity of the youth, also gave an opportunity to know their tasks, functions and responsibility.
Badrodin Mamendig, Vice chairman for Internal Affairs, UNYPAD NCCII, officiated the oath-taking and led the pledge of loyalty.
Chairman of UNYPAD NCCII, Hamsa G. Landayan, gave a message of acceptance and formally accepted the officers and members.
“Each one of us should know our task and functions in order for us to achieve our goals and objectives that is to develop youth and to implement the programs and services as well,” he said.
UNYPAD Secretary-General Yusoph S. Lumambas, discussed the programs and services of each committee to make the participants aware and have the idea how to start their implementations.
“As an officer we have our own responsibilities and that responsibilities are entrusted to us being a Bangsamoro leader of our community. We have to implement those wherein the basis is the Qur’an and the Sunnah of prophet Muhammad S.A.W,” Lumambas stressed.
In his inspirational message, Dr Rahib L. Kudto, UNYPAD President emphasized, “Whoever appointed you for that position is just an instrument because the truth it is Allah itself who put you there because you deserve it and that is challenge for you. You are the hope of your community”.
“There must be a combination of wisdom of the old and idealism of the young,” he added.
Saada Sampayan, National Vice-Chairwoman, gave an inspirational message especially for the women.
“We, as women, are responsible to engage ourselves in teaching what is right, educate others and share our knowledge in accordance to the teaching of Islam.”
In his response message, Datu Montawal Chapter Chairman AbdulNasser Lumambas said, “These challenges for them as officers of municipal level they will do their responsibilities to develop themselves and we are looking forward for more activities to be conducted in their scope of areas.”
