UNYPAD-Esperanza holds friendship game to fight illegal drugs, violent extremism

ESPERANZA, Sultan Kudarat (March 7, 2022) – In a bid to fight illegal drugs and violent extremism, the United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) Esperanza Chapter held a friendship game program today at Barangay Kangkong, this town.
The Provincial Executive went to the Esperanza Municipal Chapter to carry out the said program with the theme “Promoting Peace and Unity thru Sports to Fight Drugs and Violent Extremisms.”
Led by UNYPAD Esperanza Municipal Chairman Guiamaher Z. Aragasi, he urged his colleagues to achieve the said program along with its theme.
He expressed his gratitude to his fellow UNYPAD officers and members for the immediate cooperation manifested. For him that will strengthen the good steps in the development of their Municipal Chapter.
“Pedsukor ako sa mga tagapeda ko. Masla inya a sangkad sa kagkapia nu umpungan tanu endu apia nya nin kaaden e gabatalo a benal su laki a leadership na enggulan e endaw taman e magaga ko (I thank my colleagues. It’s a big step towards the betterment of our organization despite there are challenegs to my leadership, I will do my best),” Aragasi said.
In the said program Brother Ibrahim S. Nor current Provincial Chairman of UNYPAD SK said the event gave an opportunity for UNYPAD members to greet one another which somehow further strengthen the organization.
“Isa inya ba sa ukit a makapamagilaya tanu sa kanu ulyananan nu ka busy nu uman e isa salkitanu endu dalem a ibangakap nami salkanu ka bilang kaka nu na isa intuba sa responsibility name (This is one way that we see each other while we are too busy and it also give us chance that we become closer to you as you elder brothers. This is one of our responsibility,” Nor said.
During the reflection session after the game the participants expressed appreciation to the activity. They said they learned the value of working as a team and such learning can be applicable to the organization.
